Falls Mill is a working mill and museum. We went here as a short day trip. It was great! We took a picnic lunch and ate near the mill. Hubby got 20 lbs of pancake mix. Cant wait to go back. I bet it is really pretty at Christmas. The above is a bagging machine for the flour.

This is the water wheel. The water is directed from a stream down to the wheel. Very interesting.
This is the mill and wheel. See the excess water coming down on the right. Later it became a trickle because they started up the mill for demonstrations for a bus load of kids from school.

This pic is of the falls from where we were picnicing.

This pic is of the upper falls. There is actually a lot of old buildings around to look at also. It's only $4 per adult to get in. Very nice day trip!

This is where the owners live on site. Gorgeous old log cabin. They were thinking of making it into a bed and breakfast. There is also a cabin that you can rent for the night.
Hope you enjoyed our day trip pics!
Talk to ya later!
