Canning, canning over the ocean blue...

Sorry I'm feeling a little silly today.  I canned cucumber relish today.  Got 5 1/2 pints.  Smelled pretty good.  Still have some pepper relish that I did last year that we havent eaten yet though.  Got some pears and apples and will be making some good things with them. 

I still have some cukes and green and red peppers left...we wont go there

  1. Its good to know how to can...its a good money saver to do it yourself....I put up tomatoes last year but don't have a garden and no one has offered me any this year. Trish

  2. Our tomatoes are not doing so good this year but I plan on canning some I get from the local farmer's market. I learned to can from my mom and grandma but only hot water bath canning so since I purchased a new pressure canner I will be learning something new this year!
